We will make an ongoing effort to provide people with links and information about other sites and online resources relating to African Art and culture, and will organize those links by category in an effort to make searching easier.

Nigeria-arts.net   A project of Rakumi Arts International, Nigeria-arts.net works with Nigerian artists to provide the tools, training, and the vehicle to begin to harness the power of the Internet. Nigerian artists can exhibit and promote their work to both local and international consumers, broadening their audiences, defining new markets for their creative products, and networking globally through Internet and email access

Graviton    Founded by Rakumi's Executive Director, Andy Frankel, Graviton promotes African arts through direct representation of artist and general advocacy on a wide variety of arts related issues in Africa and around the world. Graviton has three primary divisions: The African Arts Network is envolved in artist management and representation. InterAfrican Publishing is concerned with Intellectual Property management, and Indigedisc Records is engaged in record sales and distribution.

East African Music    This site is one of several web projects of Douglas Paterson, who is the Rakumi Arts Treasurer, and an active member of Rakumi's Board of Directors. East African Music features CDs and LPs prodced by Paterson that are devoted to the work of Kenyan and Tanzanian artists, as well as discographies of Kenyan, Tanzanian, Classic Zairean and Congolese music, aricles and reviews, and links to related sites.

African Radio    Doug Paterson's online guide to African music radio programming in the Seattle area. It also offers streaming live african music from national and international radio programs, and provides listings and descriptive notes for other programs throughout the United States and Canada.

African Cinema    Another of Paterson's efforts to provide information about African arts and culture, this site features articles, reviews and notices about African films and film series, such as those sponsored by Rakumi Arts, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Seattle Public Library. It also provides an annotated list of African Film titles, and a list of African film distributors in the United States.

GlobalVillageIdiot.net    Rakumi writer Chris Nickson's site devoted to World Music offers news, reviews and artist interviews, as well as links and other resources for the World Music aficionado.
